Rep. Stefani Carter Files for Re-Election in House District 102

November 28, 2011

Representative Stefani Carter made her bid for re-election to House District 102 official by filing for office today.  This is the first day candidates can file to be on the ballot in 2012.

During her first session in the Texas Legislature, Carter effectively represented the values of House District 102 voters.

Regarding her re-election bid, Carter said, “My constituents know they can depend on me to advance conservative policies that are good for our state and good for our families.  I ask for the voters’ continued support so I might build on our efforts to protect our quality of life through job creation, tough-on-crime policies, and reduced government spending.”

An attorney who is a former Collin County prosecutor and Harvard Law School graduate, Carter is seeking her second term in the Texas House.  She currently serves on the Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence and the Committee on Energy Resources.
