Brint Ryan to be Finance Chair for Stefani Carter

State Representative Stefani Carter today announced that Brint Ryan will serve as Finance Chairman for her 2012 campaign.

“I was impressed with Representative Carter’s performance during a very challenging legislative session. She diligently maintained a conservative stance for her district even on tough issues during this time of economic difficulty. I look forward to helping her raise the funds necessary to return her back to the Texas House,” said Ryan upon the announcement.

Carter notes, “I am pleased to add Brint to our team as his knowledge on the issues is deep and advice is respected. The last legislative session was the most conservative on record, and with his help I will return to carry out another session just as conservative.”

Carter recently received the Taxpayer Champion Award, the top accolade given by the Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, and was named the 32nd most conservative legislator in the Texas House in a study by Rice University. In addition, she received an honorable mention by Capitol Inside’s “Best of the Legislature” List. Her accomplishments in the House include being instrumental in passing Voter ID and tort reform laws.

An attorney and former Collin County prosecutor and Harvard Law School graduate, Carter is seeking her second term in the Texas House.
